Our newborn sitting fee is $45 for newborns, due to the time it takes to photograph a newborn baby and the laundry that needs to be done after our newborn sessions. Do not be alarmed if your little angel tinkles on our props - they are all washed after you leave.
Allow up to two hours for your photography session. Our Newborn Photography package includes free Baby Announcement designing. We recommend that newborn photography take place during the first three weeks of life. Newborn babies tend to sleep more during this time frame so they are more relaxed and often sleep through the entire process. There is a private nursery room with a changing table and rocking chair for nursing/feeding and changing your newborn baby in private during our photo shoot process. Our photo shoot process is very relaxed and enough time is allotted for photography, rocking, nursing and changing diapers. To help you and your baby relax, we softly play lullaby music during your photo shoot. Most newborn photography is shot in the nude or with a diaper cover on. You may however, bring an outfit along too!
Your newborn needs to be kept awake for three hours before arriving. This helps your baby to sleep soundly during our photography session. Failure to keep your newborn awake before our shoot will result in a very short photography session if your newborn is wide awake and fussy.
Baby announcements are available with your newborn's first photo session. The photographer will design your newborn baby announcements for you at no charge. For pricing on prints, see our price guide. Due at the time of sitting is $145, which includes your $100 print credit. As noted, there is a minimum print order of $100 (due at the time of sitting) and a minimum $25 print order for additional orders placed at later dates.
